Ann Arbor Pioneer, Forest Hills Northern, Country Day hold on to No. 1 girls tennis state rankings

Ann Arbor Pioneer, Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern, and Detroit Country Day have held their # 1 girls’ tennis rankings in the recent Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association poll.

They were joined by Traverse City St. Francis in Division 4, which jumped over the previous North Muskegon No. 1 and took first place in Division 4.

There were many new faces in the first poll, with Novi, Okemos, Berkley, Jackson Lumen Christi, and Grand Rapids West Catholic jumping into the top 10.
