Ann Arbor named Top 10 Best Midsize Sports Cities of 2021

ANN ARBOR, me. – Thanks to his love of sports, Ann Arbor is now one of the top mid-size sports cities in the United States.

Recently Tree Town ranked seventh on WalletHub’s top 10 list of the best medium-sized cities and ranked 44th overall among small to large cities across the country.

To compile their lists, the personal finance website examined five of the biggest sports in 392 cities of various sizes in the United States. Medium-sized cities were named between 100,000 and 300,000 inhabitants.

Leaderboards from previous lists for soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer have been combined with ratings for fan conditions. The results were then weighted based on the total percentage of American adults who follow each sport according to data from the Global Sports Consumption Report, WalletHub said.
