1 person injured in East Lansing shooting

On October 11, the East Lansing Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Swallow Court, according to deputy chief Steve Gonzalez.

The incident occurred after 10 p.m. One person suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and some vehicles were also damaged.

Gonzalez said the circumstances that led to the shooting are still being investigated. No one is on remand in connection with the shooting.

The incident is an open and active investigation.
