Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast (Beacon Park), Friday-Saturday 8pm: Let’s do the Time Warp again! The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to life when the Detroit Actor’s Theater Company appears alongside the movie. Get involved by singing along or even dressing up. 11th Annual Men’s Health Event (Ford Field), Saturday 9:00 am-3:00pm, get thousands of dollars’ worth of free checkups all in one event. Meet Lions alumni, get a free lunch, and even haircuts. Thanksgiving Day Livonia (Greenmead Historical Park), Saturday to Sunday 10 am-7pm: The Simmons-Hill Farm area is transformed into a cozy craft show with acoustic music, cider and donuts, food trucks and even an escape room! Children can paint pumpkins and do sack races. More information here.
Harvest Day (Ford House), Saturday 12pm – 5pm: Celebrate the season with cider and donuts, an autumn market, a farmers market for the best apples and pumpkins, a petting zoo and more. Harvestfest & Food Truck Rally, Saturday-Sunday 11 am-8pm: Dequindre Cut becomes a foodie paradise with over 60 food trucks along the paths, six stages for music, trick or treating, a pumpkin patch with pumpkin carving and much more. A2 Artoberfest (downtown Ann Arbor) Saturday-Sunday: Art lovers will find a treasure trove of unique finds from local artists. North Fourth Ave and Ann Street feature 100 jury-selected and emerging artists, as well as live entertainment, food vendors and specialty drinks. Cider in the City (Beacon Park), Saturday 1pm – 5pm: Try the cider mills in the heart of the city. Take home cider and donuts, partake in seasonal crafts, and even take a horse-drawn carriage ride. Pistons Open Practice (Little Caesars Arena), Saturday 3pm: Look forward to basketball season with a taste of the Pistons 2021-22 team, including Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey, Isaiah Stewart, Cade Cunningham and more. See the Pistons Entertainment Team in action and take pictures with Hooper, the mascot. There will be a piston competition for the first 1,000 fans. If you register online, admission is free.
