The pitching of the captains is switched on by Lansing | from Lake County Captains

Tanner Burns and Kevin Coulter bonded for seven brilliant innings when High Single-A Lake County hosts defeated Lansing 6-2.

Burns started and went four innings, allowing three hits, no runs, and hit six. Coulter – who took the win – then went the next three. He allowed a run.

Kevin Kelly took the last one out of the game and earned his second save.

Austen Wade paced the captains’ attack up and down as one of four hits with two hits. He hit a home run and scored two runs.

Brennan had two hits, two runs, an RBI, and a stolen base. Naranjo and Nova also had two hits and an RBI each.
