The rain stopped some time ago. Clouds clear. The temperature is sinking. In the night of Tuesday it will be cooler with a partly cloudy sky. We will see some sunshine return on Wednesday in cool conditions. Veteran’s Day is going to be milder, but it’s raining along the way. Then on the weekend it gets colder and windier with slippery weather.
On Tuesday night it will be partly cloudy and cooler. The Metro Zone (Detroit and nearby cities) will have overnight lows in the mid-1930s. The thermometer will show readings while freezing and in the lower 30s until dawn. Fog can also form in the morning.

Wednesday will be partly sunny and seasonally cool. The maximum values are in the range of 50 to 55 degrees.
The clouds return as we greet our service members for Veterans’ Day on Thursday. It will be dry during the day for ceremonies and memorials. In the middle and later half of the afternoon it will be cloudy, with rain showers and airier conditions. The wind blows in warmer air. Highs will be in the low 60s.

Friday is partly sunny to mostly cloudy with occasional, cool rain. Highs just over 50 degrees.
Weekend forecast
The effects of the Veterans’ Day system will continue through Saturday and Sunday. Every day has highs in the lower 40s and lows in the lower 30s. Isolated showers of rain and snow are likely every day.
