Tacos and Tequila Festival are coming to Lansing this summer

LANSING, me. – Grab your favorite hot sauce, the Taco and Tequila Festival is coming to Jackson Field in July!

The event started in Kalamazoo three years ago and this year it’s coming to Jackson Field on Saturday, July 24th.

Attendees can sample from more than 25 different brands of tequila, local taco vendors, cocktails, and cervesas.

With all of the food and drink comes live entertainment. The festival offers live music, activities and games.

The event is likely to be broken in waves.

The first waves of entry are only for VIP ticket holders and include more exclusive and rare tequilas to try. A second wave round is for holders of a general admission ticket. There is also a Designated Driver Ticket for those who still want to take part with friends but would rather just enjoy the tacos. At check-in, all participants will receive food and drink samples with their tickets as well as a souvenir mug.

Promoters say that due to the potential for limited capacity and because tickets have sold out for three years in a row, those wishing to attend the festival are encouraged to register for priority-list tickets now before heading to the May 19th to be sold to the general public.

The priority list along with the COVID-19 readiness plan for the Taco & Tequila Festival can be found at www.tacoandtequilafestmi.com.
