Registration deadline for 104th Michigan Open golf tournament rapidly approaching

The deadline to enter the 104th Michigan Open Championship is 5:00 p.m. on May 12.

The tournament will be played June 14-17 at The Bear, near Traverse City.

There are nine qualifying tournaments. The entry fee is $ 180 for amateurs, $ 205 for Michigan PGA professionals, and $ 355 for non-PGA professionals. Players can register by clicking here.

Qualifiers will be held on May 18 at the Country Club of Lansing, May 19 at the Marriott in Eagle Crest, May 20 in Spring Meadows, May 24 in Forest Akers West, May 25 in Pheasant Run, May 2 in May Golf club held June 6th at The Moors and June 6th at Blake Lake.

There will also be a qualifier for PGA members only on May 19 at Forest Lake and a three-place qualifier on June 12 at Traverse City Golf & Country Club that can be used as a first or second qualifier.

This is the 32nd record the tournament has been played on at The Bear at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

Brett White, a mini-tour professional from Caledonia, is the defending champion. Traverse City local mini-tour pro Alex Scott finished second last year.
