Police identify victims of the murder in southwest Lansing and arrest two suspects

LANSING, Michigan – Police identified the victim of a murder early Wednesday morning in southwest Lansing as Corey Gregory Dalton, 28, from Lansing.

They also arrested two suspects in his murder: a 27-year-old Lansing woman and a 29-year-old Lansing woman. Detectives bring evidence to the Eaton County Attorney General and seek criminal charges against the two women.

A fire broke out in a townhouse on the 4100 block of Woodbridge Drive at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday. Lansing police found that Dalton was badly burned outside. He received medical help but did not survive.

Neighbors said Wednesday that there was a shooting at the time the fire broke out, although police have not confirmed it.
