Of Rice & Men opens dine-in restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor
What started as a pickup and delivery pop-up at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in downtown Ann Arbor has since grown into a new stationary restaurant with seating.
Of Rice & Men is a contemporary Asian restaurant that has moved to 312 S. Main St, Ann Arbor, adjacent to the Blue LLama Jazz Club.
While the restaurant was officially opened last year, it had to close shortly afterwards due to the pandemic, according to a spokeswoman.
“Like many companies during COVID-19, Of Rice & Men had to close shortly after we originally opened,” said Ashley Saunders in an email. “But during that time we’ve updated our space, changed our menu and we’re excited to open again!”
The former Asian pop-up will continue its menu with Asian-inspired dishes made with local and global ingredients. Of Rice & Men not only includes a large selection of sake, but also craft cocktails and a selection of Japanese whiskey and Asian beers.
Of Rice & Men is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
