ANN ARBOR – Isaiah Livers, a senior at the University of Michigan, had right foot surgery on Friday.

The school said Dr. David Porter at the Methodist Sports Medicine Center in Carmel, Indiana. The recovery time is expected to be at least six months.

Michigan announced during the Big Ten tournament that Livers had a stress injury in his foot and that he was not participating in the NCAA tournament.

The Wolverines made it to the Elite Eight before losing to UCLA.

Livers averaged 13.1 points per game this season.
