ANN ARBOR – Long before the Ann Arbor Pioneer girls’ cross-country team became the gold standard in Michigan, the coaching staff had a vision.
Head coach Nancy Boudreau and assistants Ian Forsyth and Brian Hackley knew the team was talented, but the Pioneers had struggled to make it to the state finals in the 2010s.
