Grand Rapids Cure Violence team begins work to prevent shootings

The Grand Rapids Cure Violence team was unveiled on Wednesday November 10th. GRAND RAPIDS, MI – After 18 years in prison for an armed robbery that killed one person, some people would think Jermar Sterling has paid his debt to society.

But Sterling, who was released from prison in February, says he’s paying it back through his work with the new team at Grand Rapids Cure Violence.
