Theaters in downtown Ann Arbor are offering free veteran movies on Thursdays

ANN ARBOR, me. – Veterans visiting Michigan Theater or the State Theater downtown on Thursday will be treated to free movies.

The foundation, which operates the two historic theaters, announced free entry for veterans and active military personnel on the occasion of Veterans Day.

The free screenings are made possible by the Merton and Regina Allen Memorial Fund of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation.

Films running on Thursday include “Spencer”, “Last Night in Soho”, “Eternals” and “No Time to Die”.

Currently, cinema-goers aged 12 and over must provide evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination or the result of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours. In both theaters there is a mask requirement in accordance with the theater’s COVID safety plan.
