East Lansing City’s Northern Tail Dog Park reopens this Friday April 2nd

EAST LANSING, Michigan (WILX) – The city of East Lansing’s Northern Tail Dog Park will open to the public again on Friday, April 2, at 8 a.m. for the spring, summer and fall of 2021 seasons

The park is located at 6400 Abbot Road next to the East Lansing Softball Complex and the East Lansing Family Aquatic Center. The park has 2½ acres of fenced parkland for off-leash dog games. There is also a 5,625 square foot fenced area within the park for small dogs (under 22 pounds).

Entry to the park is free and daily parking times (weekdays and weekends) are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Park visitors are reminded to stay at least three feet away from those not in their group and follow all current epidemic directives from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services: https://www.michigan.gov/ Coronavirus / 0 , 9753,7-406-98178_98455-533660-, 00.html.
