DETROIT – The police are asking the public for assistance in finding a missing 14 year old girl.
Authorities said Shaviah Bassett was last seen on Saturday around 5 p.m. on the 19600 block of Appleton Street east of Telegraph Road. Her family said she left home and did not return.
This is the first time she’s gone missing.
She is reported to be in good physical condition and, although she has not been diagnosed with any mental illness, her family is concerned because she believes she may harm herself.
