Cool with more sunshine Saturday afternoon, showers closer to Lake Huron

Welcome to Motown on Saturday and Mother’s Day weekend.

We will have a mixture of sun and clouds for the rest of the day with above average cool conditions. Raindrops can fall in places closer to Lake Huron. Tonight it will be cold and the clouds will get deeper and thicker. Rain is possible, Mother’s Day, tomorrow.

Saturday afternoons are usually too sunny and a little milder. Temperatures will be around 5 degrees below average. The afternoon temperatures are close to 60 degrees. Light showers are possible in Counties St. Clair and Sanilac.

On Saturday evening, clouds are moving over the whole of southeast Michigan. Temperatures will be in the lower and mid 50s.

Saturday evening is mostly cloudy and cool for last-minute shoppers on Mother’s Day. The lows will be in the low 40s.

Happy Mother’s Day, Sunday! Schedule indoor activities for mom and family while everyone is partying. It’s getting cooler with repetitive rain, mostly south of 8 Mile Road. Highs will be in the low 50s to near 55 degrees in wet conditions.


Monday will be sunnier again with an increase in daytime temperatures. The maximum values ​​are close to 60 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday are partly to mostly sunny and mild. The average high this time of year is in the upper 60s. Highs reach the low and mid 60s.
