Group donation for men
TRAVERSE CITY – Grand Traverse Men’s Shed recently donated a raised bed to Cherry Hill Haven, an assisted living facility. Group members plan to produce and deliver at least four more. The non-profit organization aims to provide men with a common space where they can socialize and complete projects. Contact: [email protected]
TRAVERSE CITY – The Watershed Center invites community members to become Grand Traverse Baykeepers. The role includes supporting measures to protect and maintain water quality. Training government officials and others; and collecting data from coasts, streams and rivers. A grant from the Waterkeeper Alliance enables the center to update this program.
