Chilly with rain on Mother’s Day Sunday

DETROIT – Happy Mother’s Day and welcome to Sunday Motown.

We have cloudy skies as mothers across Detroit and southeast Michigan are served breakfast in bed.

Rain comes before brunch. It will stay wet and cool later today and while the families prepare dinner. After today, Mother’s Day week will be sunnier, warmer and more spring-like.

The Tigers will have a hard time playing baseball (if there is a game) in rainy, cool conditions on Sunday afternoons.
