Chilly Friday evening, higher temps this weekend

DETROIT – Welcome to Friday night, Motown!

Friday will be cooler and will stay dry. On Saturday morning there are fewer clouds and more sunshine. Saturday afternoon will be a little milder. Sunday will also be milder, but possible with a few more clouds and only a few raindrops.

Saturday will be partly sunny and glorious. A jacket or coat is needed in the morning to stay warm, but in the afternoon we can get away with a sweatshirt and jeans. With enough sunshine, temperatures reach the mid and upper 50s.

Sunday is mostly cloudy with occasional rain showers. Even so, temperatures reach the lower 60s.

Monday is mostly cloudy and mild. I’ll be in the low 60s to almost 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

On Tuesday, colder air will come in again. It is mostly cloudy with cool rain showers possible. The afternoon temperatures are only in the mid-40s.

Wednesday morning is showered. The highs bounce back to 50 degrees or a little more.

We’re back in our top 50s with more sunshine Thursday.
