Carson’s American Bistro reopens in Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR – Carson’s American Bistro has reopened and has new additions to its menu.

Mainstreet Ventures Restaurant Group’s restaurant has been closed since April, and General Manager Brian Hill said it took longer than expected to find the staff it needed.

“We wanted to reopen in September but couldn’t hire enough qualified staff,” Hill said in a statement. “We wanted to reopen the ‘right path’ with the appropriate amount of well-trained staff. That took a little more patience than expected, but we made it! “

Carson’s American Bistro menu also features new dishes including:

  • Buffalo cauliflower – buffalo sauce and dressing of the green goddess

  • Traverse Bay Salad – mixed baby greens, maple mustard dressing, dried cherries, candied walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, and red onions

  • Roasted Sweet Potato Salad – Baby Cabbage, Farro, Goat Cheese, Blackberry Bourbon Dressing, and Seasoned Green Pumpkin Seeds

  • Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich – Mayo, shredded lettuce and pickles

  • Prawn Gnocchi – Jumbo golf prawns, crispy potato dumplings, roasted pepper and cream sauce, corn, cherry tomatoes and green pumpkin seed pesto

  • Tuesday-Thursday: 4 pm-9pm

  • Friday – Saturday: 4–10 p.m.

  • Tuesday – Saturday: Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm

Current happy hour specials include 50% off starters and pints of draft beer, glasses for $ 5 of select red and white wines, and special cocktails for $ 6.

Reservations can be made online or by calling 888-456-DINE. Execution and delivery are also possible.
