Arrest made in Grand Rapids hit-and-run that injured Rockford jogger

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan – The suspect was arrested in a Grand Rapids hit and run accident.

The crash occurred on Monday, October 18, on Monroe Avenue NW.

Grand Rapids Police say 19-year-old Jaiden Edwin Colborn was arrested and taken to Kent County Correctional Facility on Tuesday November 9th.

We have been told that Colborn has been charged with reckless driving, not stopping at the scene of the accident, and driving with a revoked driver’s license.

According to the GRPD, any charge is punished with a maximum of five years in prison.

The victim, a 19-year-old Rockford woman, is still in grave condition, according to police.
