Ann Arbor is holding a Goat Open House this Monday
Forget about manscaping – the hot new trend in Michigan is goatscaping.
While the rest of America mows their lawns and weeds under the hot sun, the Ann Arbor has outsourced that drudgery to several herds of goats that, according to Click on Detroit, are helping to get rid of invasive vegetation, poison ivy, and overgrown parks and other natural areas.
On Monday, the city is hosting an educational “Open House Goat House” for residents to meet the Billies from Milan’s Twin Willow Ranch, who have been serving in the city for several years.
“So far this summer, the goats have been used in Broadway Park, Gallup Park and Cobblestone Farm,” reports CoD.
