Alice Caroll Gillson, 88, of Traverse City, died on August 6, 2021.
Alice retired after 20 years of service from Chef Pierre of Traverse City. She was gardening with a flashy green thumb, loved cooking for many, celebrating a 50th anniversary with the love of her life, Don, and enjoying her relationships with friends and family.
Preceded in the deaths of husband, Don and three brothers and a sister.
Alice is survived by her brother, Gary Abendroth from Bath; Daughters, Suzanne (Gillson) Krumm of Traverse City and Cynthia (Gillson) Goursery of Grand Haven; Son, David (Janelle) Lamb, of Lincoln, Neb .; Stepchildren, Tim (Grace) Gillson of Bellville, Texas and Teda (Dale) Gillson Durga; Grandsons, Maegan (Shawn) Sprague and Michael and Marla Krumm; and great-grandchildren, Aven, Allie and Olivia Sprague.
