Alanis Morissette musical coming to Lansing – The Morning Sun

The Wharton Center will host the Tony and Grammy award-winning musical “Jagged Little Pill” Tuesday, Jan. 31 through Sunday Feb. 5. The show is inspired by Alanis Morissette’s rock album, with an original story by Tony and Academy Award-winning writer Diablo Cody (“Juno,” “Tully”), about a perfectly imperfect American family. The East Lansing performances will include Heidi Blickenstaff, who acted in the production on Broadway, and features such songs as “You Oughta Know” and “Ironic.” Show times are 7:30 pm Tuesdays through Thursdays; 8pm Friday; 2 and 8 pm Saturday; and 1 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $39. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit whartoncenter.com or call 1-800-WHARTON.
