New lawsuit calls for billions in fee refunds for Ann Arbor residents and businesses
ANN ARBOR, MI – Ann Arbor faces another lawsuit alleging the city owes millions of dollars in illegal fees to property owners across the city, a claim the city denies.
The city has hired a special lawyer to address the new lawsuit over the city’s rainwater charges in the Michigan Court of Appeals. The city council unanimously voted for a $ 90,000 legal service contract with Rosati, Schultz, Joppich, and Amtsbuechler PC to defend the city at its final session.
