Sidecar Slider Bar opens in Lansing

LANSING, Michigan – Sidecar Slider Bar opened in downtown Lansing on Tuesday.

“All of our food is handcrafted to the highest quality standards,” said General Manager Josiah Moore. “I want to give everyone a place where they can come for a great meal, a great cocktail, a great beer and a great environment.”

The restaurant has three locations in Michigan. They are located in Lansing on Michigan Avenue and Cedar Street, directly across from Jackson Field.

“For this location, we saw an opportunity in this market that no one else was fulfilling. And that was providing a place with a kitchen that was open until two in the morning,” said Moore.

The restaurant is open seven days a week from 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

“We have bourbons that you can’t get anywhere else,” said Moore. “We have draft beer that you can’t get anywhere else. You won’t find our sliders anywhere else.”

Sliders are usually small, but Sidecar Slider Bar makes theirs bigger.

“You don’t need six sliders to be full,” said Moore, two might just be enough.

The restaurant’s official opening is on Wednesday, as a treat, rare and hard-to-find beer samples are served.
