Mostly cloudy, chilly Sunday night

DETROIT – Welcome to Sunday night, Motown.

Although the showers are subsiding, clouds remain over us tonight. Besides, it’s getting cold. It will be a little milder tomorrow, as the instability will continue tomorrow and occasional rain is still possible. There’s a better chance that more even sunshine will return by the end of this week.

Sunday night is cloudy with a few showers. The overnight lows will be in the low 40s.

Sunrise is at 6:57 a.m.

Monday is mostly cloudy and a little milder. Light to moderate rain turns on and off in the morning and afternoon. The afternoon temperatures are between 60 and 65 degrees.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and cooler again. The daytime temperatures are close to 60 degrees, which is seasonal.

Occasional rain will return on Wednesday. It gets even cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

We can put our umbrellas away and go to the car wash Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be cool with highs in the top 50s. Friday is going to be milder with highs in the low 60s.
