Then replace the animal control mill
It’s time to think about renewing the animal control mill. The renewal will be put to the vote in November, if Grand Traverse County’s officials permit. I am working with Commissioner Penny Morris to get the ball rolling as it is a long process.
The renewal of the Millage is on the agenda for the April 7th meeting. Please email your support for Millage to the County Commissioners or join their 8am virtual meeting by making a public comment.
The animal control mill was passed by 71.65 percent of residents in 2018 – possibly the most popular mill I’ve ever researched – so this should be a very easy vote for commissioners.
