Just Between Friends broadcast sales returns to Ann Arbor this spring

ANN ARBOR – The Just Between Friends spring sale will take place on April 29th through May 2nd at the Washtenaw Farm Council grounds.

The biannual consignment sale enables parents to buy and sell a wide variety of baby, child and maternity items at a discount of 50 to 90 percent off retail value.

Although free tickets are available for the last few days of sale, pre-sale passes allow customers to have a first look at all items and – from experience – quickly.

The annual event was canceled last spring after the first cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Michigan.

Check out our segment ahead of last year’s event on Live in the D with sisters and event co-founders Anne Seyferth and Sarah Garot:

Garot and Seyferth hosted a successful event with new safety protocols in September to observe proper social distancing and disinfection during the pandemic.

From disinfecting shopping bags and trolleys to limiting items for sellers to creating larger one-way aisles, the duo has completely changed the layout of the event.

“One thing we want to share with everyone is that they have to do their part to wear masks and maintain social distance and not come when they feel sick,” Seyferth told A4 in September.

“This is quite a collaborative effort to have a safe sale. We conduct all safety protocols for our helpers, including temperature checks and waivers. “

Organizers say limited capacity of the event may result in waiting outside.

Masks are required in the building.
