Family Jewish Services are holding an inaugural 1 mile walk and fundraiser in Ann Arbor on Sunday

ANN ARBOR – Jewish Family Service invites members of the local community to run a mile in their customers’ shoes on Sunday.

The event, which is free of charge for the participants, is intended to shed light on the many topics that their customers are confronted with on a daily basis.

Whether new refugees, families affected by food insecurity, older adults, or those in need of mental health services, JFS continues to support community members in emergency situations as it has since 1993.

Participants in the first “Walk a Mile in My Shoes” fundraiser are encouraged to invite friends and family to sponsor their walk.
