Boys Golf: Detroit Lakes cruises at the Minnewaska Early Bird

GLENWOOD – The Detroit Lakes boys’ golf team drove to victory in the Minnewaska Early Bird Invitational on Friday.

The Lakers had a score of 327 to beat hosts Minnewaska by 21 strokes.

Medalists went to Detroit Lakes’ Lukas Justesen, who shot a 78.

Minnewaska’s top scorer was Cole Harste, who had an 81.

Morris / Chokio-Alberta finished fourth with 383 strokes. The Tigers’ top scorer was Charlie Hanson, who carded an 82.

Minnewaska’s next scheduled meeting is Friday, April 16, 2:00 pm at the Lakeview Golf Course in Detroit Lakes.
