The NAACP branch in Lansing condemns the actions of Mayor Schor

LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – The Lansing NAACP division has denounced Mayor Andy Schor’s actions, including the administration’s treatment of current and former city employees and residents in police custody.

The NAACP said a number of discrimination lawsuits had been filed against his administration since Schor began his tenure in 2018.

The Lansing branch also said no one should worry while dying in police custody.

Shortly before the elections, the NAACP said: “We urge the citizens of Lansing to do so
Objectively research why our beloved city is not a culture where diversity is valued. “
