Southwest Detroit neighbors pushing for action to stop street racing
The neighbors say the area is a hot spot for racing
DETROIT – Neighbors in southwest Detroit speak up after a driver suspected of racing crashes his vehicle on Fort Street near Interstate 75.

Ann Byrne, the part of town where the crash happened has become a hot spot. Byrne said the current laws of reckless driving just aren’t enough.
“We appeal to the charter commission, the council, to pass some laws that will give the police the right teeth to get this stuff through,” she said.
