Mild and dry at this time, more wet weather tomorrow
Mostly cloudy skies with temperatures between the upper 50s and low 60s when we start here on your Wednesday morning over Metro Detroit. But now there is no wet weather, and we do not expect wet weather for all of SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario with light winds for most of the day.
Sunrise is at 7:44 am
We won’t get a lot of sunshine today, but we will see some sun and highs again in the mid 70’s. The sky is from partly sunny to partly cloudy and the winds remain a little easier today SW 5-10mph. Although we don’t expect wet weather today, rain showers will also chase us into your Thursday and Friday tonight. Yes, it looks pretty wet to end this week of work and school.
Sunset is at 6:54 p.m.
Occasional rain and thunderstorms come and go from tomorrow morning. And with a few light showers of rain and thunderstorms, we should still see high temperatures in the mid-70s here on Thursday, after the morning lows in the lower 60s. We may see some areas with a bit more rain and thunder on Thursday, with more wet weather waves in the forecast for your Friday.
Yes, it will be a little touch and go on Friday and the Storm Prediction Center has placed Metro Detroit at marginal risk for severe storms on Friday afternoons and evenings. We should see some steady or even heavy downpours and some gusty winds in the afternoon and evening as Friday highs hit the low or mid-70s.
The showers last until early Saturday before we dry out and temperatures drop into the 50s and 60s on Saturday. We’ll see a dry track after that with cool, fall-like patterns … stay tuned.
