Live Michigan Medicine Q&A on COVID Vaccines for Children Thursday

ANN ARBOR – Michigan Medicine experts will answer parents’ questions about children and adolescents receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine during a live Q&A session on Thursday.

The event was announced after the FDA approved the Pfizer vaccine in children ages 12-15.

The livestream begins at 3:30 p.m. and can be viewed on the CS Mott Children’s Hospital Facebook and Twitter pages, Michigan Medicine’s YouTube channel, UM’s Facebook page, and Von Voigtlander’s Woman’s Facebook page Hospital to be considered.

On the podium are the pediatrician at CS Mott Children’s Hospital Sharon Kileny and family doctor and immunization expert Pamela Rockwell.


Kileny and Rockwell will address a wide variety of topics including safety and effectiveness in children, expected side effects, clinical trials, vaccine misconceptions, vaccines for younger children in the future, and more.
