Leapin’ Leprechaun 5K Returns With A New Route This Year

If you’re looking to participate in some St. Patrick’s Day fun this year, consider the Leapin’ Leprechaun 5K.

The Traverse City tradition has been happening for over a decade, and this year there’s a new course. Runners will take off at Lake Street and head east.

When the race is over there will be an after-party that includes costumes, animals and fun for all ages.

Over the past 13 years, the event has been able to raise a little over $20,000, with some of those proceeds going to Munson’s family centers.

“We enjoy that great Saturday morning. Time to get out there. For those 21 and over, we do have a beverage coupon that’ll be attached to your bib as part of your registration,” said Kat Paye, National Cherry Festival Executive Director.

Head to the Leapin’ Leprechaun website for more information and to sign up.
