ANN ARBOR, MI – A nurse at Ann Arbor VA Hospital accused of stealing opioids from patients for her personal use has been given a suspended sentence.
Former Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Elizabeth Ann Prophitt was sentenced to three years probation in the Eastern District of Michigan District Court on Tuesday, November 9, after pleading guilty to five federal crimes for the acquisition of controlled substances through fraud, The US Department of Justice for fraud or deception.
