The United States Postal Service will be at the job fair on Thursday, August 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The job fair takes place at the USPS Processing and Distribution Center at 1801 Garfield Road. North.
USPS is recruiting for all positions including urban transportation assistant, rural carrier, rural carrier assistant, mail handling assistant, postal support worker, tractor trailer operator and automotive technician.
Swiss Post currently has the following vacancies:
- City Carrier Assistant – $ 18.51 per hour;
- Rural Transportation Partner – $ 19.06 per hour;
- Deputy Land Carrier – $ 19.06 per hour;
- Post Support Agent – $ 18.69 per hour; and,
- Mail Handling Assistant – $ 16.87 per hour.
In order to be considered for the positions, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or have a high school diploma;
- Must be a US citizen or permanent alien status; and,
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and medical evaluation prior to hiring.
