ANN ARBOR, MI – Nearly four months after a new tenant rights bill was passed to prevent Ann Arbor landlords from pressuring tenants to renew their leases ahead of time, says a group leading the push for preventing it from working .

That’s because landlords are finding ways and the city isn’t doing enough about it, Amir Fleischmann, a University of Michigan graduate and a member of the UM Graduate Employees’ Organization housing committee, told the city council last week, calling it a ” Total failure “of enforcement.
