WEEK 1 STARS

NAKAI AMACHREE, HASLETT – The junior had two returns for scores for the Vikings in their 21-14 loss to DeWitt in the Battle at the Big House. He had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the contest and added a 75-yard punt return for a TD in the third quarter.

BRADEN HILL, CHARLOTTE: Hill accounted for all four touchdowns while helping the Orioles to a 29-22 season-opening win over Olivet. Hill had an 80-yard kick return for a score and had three other touchdowns on plays longer than 20 yards. His 24-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter accounted for the winning points.

JALEN ROGOZINSKI, STOCKBRIDGE: The junior completed 11 of 17 passes for 159 yards and four TDs in the Panthers’ win over Springport. He also had a rushing TD.

NOLAN STUMP, FOWLER: Stump had 28 carries for 222 yards and two touchdowns while helping the Eagles to a 29-0 win over Division 8 No. 3 Carson City Crystal.
