TOP PERFORMERS
CASON CARSWELL, MASON: The sophomore helped the Bulldogs improve to 8-0, throwing for 313 yards and four touchdowns. Carswell completed 15 of 18 passes while falling just short of a single-game school record for passing yards in Mason’s 35-6 win over Jackson.
BRANDON LEWIS, LANSING CATHOLIC: The senior had seven catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns and threw for a pair of scores in the Cougars’ victory over Fowlerville.
ALEX PETERSBURG, WILLIAMSTON: The senior had three rushing scores and forced a fumble for the Hornets in their 29-22 win over Division 5 No. 10 Olivet. Petersburg had 218 passing yards and ran for 123 yards.
