EAST LANSING, MI – The Grand Blanc Boys’ basketball team won their first MHSAA Division 1 State Championship on Saturday April 10, defeating Ann Arbor Huron 45-36 at Michigan State University’s Breslin Center in East Lansing.

Second security guard, RJ Taylor, led Grand Blanc with 15 points. Tmonte Boyd added another 12 points and the young striker another nine points.

The Bobcats’ defense efforts paid off, forcing Ann Arbor Huron to make 14 sales while they only had six of their own.

Devin Womack led Ann Arbor Huron with 18 points.
