It has been a long road to recovery for 2-year-old Micah, who was involved in a car accident on Interstate 94 in Romulus two months ago.

The car exploded and caught fire. Fortunately, a group of Samaritans intervened and brought them to safety.

“I received a call, probably around 4:30 am, that my daughter was in a serious car accident,” said Michael Hunter.

Hunter said it was June 12 on I-94 heading east near Merriman Road in Romulus. It got worse as he heard more about his 2 year old daughter’s condition.

“That she might not make it. I probably rushed to the hospital around 5am and she was approachable, she wore a ruff and had two broken legs, ”he said. “You said the car exploded. Trooper Cheese, and I think it was like five other Good Samaritans, I want to thank them for being the first on the scene to come to my baby’s rescue. You are truly sent from God. “

“I want to say thanks. We love you, God loves you. We love you. Thank you for everything, ”said Hunter.

He prays and hopes that these good Samaritans will come forward so that he can thank them personally.
