High-50: Here are the latest rankings of high school football in Michigan

Through three weeks of high school football in Michigan, 99 teams remain undefeated. That number will obviously shrink in the weeks ahead, but for now the playoff picture and conference races are starting to take shape.

Into the rankings this week burst Napoleon, Clarkston and Davison. Napoleon’s rain-soaked win at Manchester on Saturday puts the Pirates in the driver’s seat in the Cascades Conference, though plenty of tough games still loom. Clarkston has recovered from his season-opening loss to Davison (though has a huge game with West Bloomfield this week), and Davison takes his 2-1 record all the way to No. 26, with the one loss coming to Detroit Catholic Central.
