Detroit police seek vehicle in connection with nonfatal shooting on city’s west side

Detroit Police are searching for a non-fatal shooting-related vehicle on the west side of the city

DETROIT – Police are looking for a white limousine after a 54-year-old woman was shot and killed Monday morning.

Authorities said the shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on Ardmore Street near Lyndon Street. According to police, the 54-year-old woman was sleeping in the front room of her house when an unknown person fired several shots from what was believed to be a white Ford Taurus. The woman was critically injured in the shooting.

The vehicle was captured on video during the escape on site. The video can be seen in the player above.
