Daelin Hayes of Ann Arbor Skyline makes NFL squad with Baltimore Ravens

Daelin Hayes reached another milestone this week to start his NFL career.

The former Ann Arbor Skyline standout and Notre Dame defensive lineman earned a spot in the Baltimore Ravens’ 53-man squad on Tuesday, making him the final cut of the regular NFL season.

Hayes was awarded the 171st prize by the Ravens.

In three preseason games, the 6-foot-3, 253-pound-converted linebacker recorded four tackles and three quarterback hits to get him a spot on the squad.

Hayes was a Skyline 4-Star recruit in 2016 prior to his five-year career at Notre Dame.

In his final season with the Fighting Irish, Hayes started all 12 games, counting 17 tackles (6 for loss), three sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception and three quarterback rushes to help the Fighting Irish get out of college -Football Playoff.

He finished college with 94 tackles (20.5 for loss), nine sacks, five fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, and one interception.

The Ravens open the regular season on Monday, September 13th with the Las Vegas Raiders.
