Christ Centered University

Concordia is a Lutheran college committed to putting Christ first in everything and helping students grow in their faith. On the central campus, the Chapel of the Holy Trinity is located in the center. Services are held five days a week.

Classes are closed during this time so that every student has the opportunity to attend. There are also plenty of opportunities outside of the chapel to meet with groups for a Bible study or devotional to worship with your friends. There are many churches around Ann Arbor where everyone has the opportunity to pray off campus.

Professors take care of you

One benefit of attending a small school is the opportunity to get to know your professors due to the small class size. You can keep in touch with your professors on a regular basis throughout the school year, and it’s easy to feel comfortable asking for help during class or office hours.

Community is important here at CUAA so we can make sure your professors have your interests in mind. The Concordia staff really care about you, so you have the peace of mind that you can ask your professors for help or advice, and they’ll be happy to help!

Easy to make new friends

At Concordia, it is common on the small campus to meet people until they become familiar faces. It allows you to be more comfortable and meet new people with ease. Plus, there is a lot of fun on campus to be a part of, where you can have fun and meet new people at the same time.

We recommend getting involved in activities that you are passionate about, be it athletics or clubs, to meet people with the same interests as you.

Residential life

There are a total of 16 suite-style dormitories for on-campus living. The res halls are divided on the west side (closer to the Field House) and east side (opposite the Cardinal Stadium). In the middle of your hall is the common area where you can comfortably hang out with your friends or prepare a meal on the stove for the residents to use.

There are many events taking place in the dormitories on campus where you can get to know the other students living in your dormitory. This includes fun games, movies, or other activities planned by your RA. All dormitories are close to the main campus, so it’s just a five-minute walk to class or eat at Nest or the cafe.
