36-year-old woman killed by shots fired into Detroit house, police say

DETROIT – A 36-year-old woman was killed over the weekend when shots were fired into a home in Detroit, officials said.

The shooting happened at 10:56 pm May 1 (Sunday) at the 13500 block of Rockdale Street on the city’s west side, according to authorities.

An unknown person fired shots into a house, fatally injuring the woman, police said.

A light-colored sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Cruze, is believed to be connected to the shooting, officials said. It was seen leaving the location at the time of the incident, according to police.
