LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – One person is dead and two people are on Martin Luther King Blvd. after an accident Friday night. in the hospital. near Pleasant Grove Road. in Lansing.
Lansing Police were called to the accident at around 11:40 pm last night and when they arrived they found two cars with serious damage.
The first car was driven by a 51-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead later that night. A 22-year-old woman was also in the car with minor injuries that she treated.
There were three people in the second car, two of whom had to be hospitalized for injuries, a 2-year-old girl and a 39-year-old woman.
According to police, the speed may have contributed to the accident.
